The song is actually called "Voodoo Chile", and it's not pronounced with a long "e" like you would pronounce the country "Chile"....I remember that dope Tony Schiavone pronouncing it that way on TV when Hogan came out. 😂

JIM JOHNSTON: I remember writing ‘I’m All About Cool’, and I even found the track and my lyric sheet on a backup drive. (The memory didn’t really come back until I saw the lyric sheet.) I’ve completely forgotten who the singers are I hired for the session. I’m as surprised as you at the interest you mention…it’s not one that’s come up too frequently in interview questions. I’ve always loved the doo-wop street corner sound. Billy Joel has made a career of it, and no one does it better. If you listen to many of his songs, behind the wonderful production is a great doo wop tune. Great melodies. When I was a little boy, my cousin took me to a roller rink in Pocahontas, Arkansas. They played a lot of doo woo as I skated away. I loved the sound and would sing along. The impression and emotion obviously stuck in my head, and found its way out in that song. I love the lyrics…they transport me back to that time. Of course, for WWE, I had to make it far more self-flattering than usual circumstances…but I still love the lyrics…and there’s a good dose of autobiography in there, as there almost always is in my lyrics…though I often don’t recognize it until years later.
